Meet Rachel

 Rachel is a Saluda local and graduate of the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC.  With a Bachelor's degree focused in Dance Movement Therapy, certification as a level II Reiki practitioner, and license in massage and bodywork therapy, she has a deep understanding and belief in the importance of the mind-body connection.

 With years of experience in award winning day spas across the country, she uses her skill set of integrative techniques and intuitive energy work to hone her sessions around each client’s individual needs for healing- whether it’s trigger point focus on a problem area- or blissful pampering.

In addition to her love for massage, Rachel enjoys the outdoors, traveling, dancing, and countryside living with her beloved husband, son, and animals.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist of over 5 years. I completed my massage therapy education at Blue Cliff College in Metairie, Louisiana. From there I started my career working for a local chiropractor. Beginning here helped me broaden my skills by exploring new techniques better suited to help clients who generally experience chronic pain. Shortly after, I began to travel around the country with my career. This gave me the wonderful opportunity to work in various spas, hotels, and clinics. Having the chance to work alongside seasoned therapists who each specialized in their own preferred modalities, I was able to expand my knowledge further and customize my own style that would cater to my clients individual needs. 

Since then I have made my way out to Asheville, NC. Here I have continued working in a spa setting in downtown Asheville, continued my education, and expanding my knowledge to provide a better experience for all of my clients.

Jaine Nelson of Saluda, NC is a licensed massage therapist.  She is highly recognized as a massage professional in all forms of techniques with concentrations in Swedish and pregnancy massages.  She welcomes clients with her calm demeanor and soothing methods to release tension in problem areas.  Jaine received her training from the Isothermal Community College Massage Therapy Program.  

As a former educator and travel agent, Jaine is accustomed to meeting the needs of each client and she looks forward to concentrating her practice here in Saluda to both residents and travelers alike.
